It is small enough to park eaisly, seats 7! I can take kids and their friends places. It has a beautiful interior design, and dashboard and unique accessories like the door handles that pull up and chrome dashboard almost like a cockpit. The leather seats are comfy and it plays CD's and an ipod or MP3 player. The turning radius is awesome, people always comment on it, it's like a car. It looks sleek and it's well priced.…

I bought my Mountaineer new. It's now four years old and I have driven it 101,000 miles. The only mechanical issue I've had is a leaking radiator. It is a pleasure to drive, is very comfortable and has plenty of power. I average 17 mpg, but freeway driving delivers 21 mpg. I would buy another Mountaineer.…

Our Mercury Mountaineer is the best vehicle that we have ever owned or leased. It's loaded with features and has room for seven. For a family of five that often turns into a family of seven (thanks to the kids' friends) the power folding seats are a must have. Even after four years of ownership the paint still looks great and the chrome accents keep the truck in style.
There are two downsides though. The wife wishes the doors were sliding instead of opening out (but refuses to drive a low sitting mini-van) and the fuel economy in the city is not awesome. We are averaging about 14.9 MPGs with Motorcraft Full Synthetic oil.…
